Wengen Winter Season 2020/21

Despite there being strict measures in place throughout Switzerland during the 2020/2021 winter season, Wengen was still ‘open for business’ with Swiss tourists enjoying the activities such as skiing & snowboarding, sledging, snow-shoeing and more. Wengen Tourismus commissioned The Story Creatives to capture some of the memories enjoyed amidst the best snow conditions in several years.

Wake Up Wengen

After the first lockdown in 2020 caused by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, hotels & restaurants in Wengen were looking forward to opening their doors again.  As part of our promotional activities The Story Creatives captured the story of the village preparing to open again.

The Costume Festival

The National Costume Festival on Männlichen offers the wonderful opportunity to view typical national dress from the various Switzerland cantons, accompanied by folk music.

The Summer Festival

A unique festival, again on Männlichen, which includes dancing in national costume, yodelling duets, an alphorn trio, flag throwing and  whip cracking.

The Snow Show

As the official videographer partner for Ski School Wengen we also captured the weekly Snow Show in partnership with Wengen Tourismus, which sees instructors display some of their best skills and tricks on the Figeller.
